Kyp Systems win Best Newcomer at BPMA awards
Kyp Systems, the creators of the pocket-sized marketing and communications tool, the iKyp (information to Keep in your pocket), have won Best Newcomer at the 2006 BPMA Awards. The award was presented to CEO Nicholas Miller at the BPMA’s (British Promotional Merchandise Association) annual ceremony, which was held at the Langham Hotel in London on 14 December.
Now in its fourth year, the BPMA Awards were created to recognise and promote excellence and innovation within the promotional marketing industry. Members of the BPMA must be nominated for consideration in each category and a panel of senior promotional marketing industry representatives decide on the winners.
On Kyp Systems’ success at the awards, David Lebond, Chairman of the BPMA commented: “The decision was unanimous. Kyp Systems have enjoyed a hugely successful inaugural year and are already working with many household names such as Sony Playstation, British Gas and Shell. Kyp Systems captured the imagination of everyone on the judging panel: A worthy winner.”
Nicholas Miller said: “I am obviously delighted that Kyp Systems have received such a prestigious distinction at the BPMA Awards. It is a real honour to have our hard work and effort recognised by the leading representatives of our industry.”
He continued: “The iKyp’s versatility means that it can be used by any type of organisation or industry. After just one year, high profile clients have used the iKyp for a range of applications from instruction manuals to festival guides to internal communications. This will certainly have made a strong impact on the judging panel.”
